This is so simple, I wish I had thought of it. I didn't, I heard it on the radio, but I don't remember who was doing the talking! (If you know, leave me comment and I'll give him credit)
Summary: Jesus is telling the story. The Master gives 3 servants 3 different amounts and then leaves. Two of the servants invest their money and double their worth. The servant given the least buries his money. When the Master returns He says to the 2 who invested, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' He is happy with those who invested. To the servant who buried his money the Master said, 26'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.' 28 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Conclusion: The Master is Jesus. He rewards making money. He rewards those who make money and punishes the lazy. That in a nutshell is capitalism!- Like I said: SIMPLE! I said Jesus IS (not was) a capitalist because I believe Jesus is our risen savior. He defeated death and is living in heaven with his Father.
Amen, good start, thanks Kenny
