As you may know, the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) is an agency staffed with unelected bureaucrats tasked with setting transportation policy for our state.

TXDOT has been embroiled in a number of public scandals in recent years, but most members of the public don't know even half the story of what's been going on at this troubled agency.

Texans Uniting for Reform and Freedom (TURF) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate the public on our government’s new shift to tolling using controversial financing methods called public-private partnerships (called Comprehensive Development Agreements or CDAs in Texas), the tolling of existing corridors, and the eminent domain abuse inherent in these plans (confiscating private land to give to a private company for commercial gain). TURF also educates the public about the Trans Texas Corridor (TTC).

Army celebrates 235 years of 'liberating millions'

On May 10, 1975 the Second Continental Congress convened in Philadelphia. On the agenda: creating a common army to defend the colonies. On June 14, the Congress approved the creation of that army -- the Continental Army. The new force was made of those militiamen already gathered outside Boston -- some 22,000 of them -- plus those in New York, about 5,000.

This is so simple, I wish I had thought of it. I didn't, I heard it on the radio, but I don't remember who was doing the talking! (If you know, leave me comment and I'll give him credit)

Summary: Jesus is telling the story. The Master gives 3 servants 3 different amounts and then leaves. Two of the servants invest their money and double their worth. The servant given the least buries his money. When the Master returns He says to the 2 who invested, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' He is happy with those who invested. To the servant who buried his money the Master said, 26'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? ²⁷Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.' ²⁸ 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. ²⁹For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. ³⁰And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

Conclusion: The Master is Jesus. He rewards making money. He rewards those who make money and punishes the lazy. That in a nutshell is capitalism!- Like I said: SIMPLE! I said Jesus IS (not was) a capitalist because I believe Jesus is our risen savior. He defeated death and is living in heaven with his Father.
